MY STORY
Hi!
I am Ajinder Plahey, a holistic health coach devoted to educating and empowering busy professionals to improve their mind-gut connection.
My desire to help people lead a well-rounded life began during my own journey of overcoming serious health issues. Like many people in their twenties, my lifestyle wasn't healthy - I was working full-time and attending culinary school part-time, which took a toll on my well-being.
This fast-paced lifestyle led me to consume unhealthy food, resulting in severe inflammation, IBS and high cholesterol.
My lifestyle not only had a significant impact on my physical health, but it also overstimulated my mind, leaving me in a constant state of tension and stress. I realized I wasn't mentally, emotionally, physically, or spiritually aligned and knew something needed to change.

Mind/Full MISSION
Having personally experienced a profound transformation from burnout and inflammation to a state of well-being and mindfulness, I am passionate about empowering other busy professionals on their journey toward inner harmony.
My mission is to guide individuals toward a more balanced and fulfilling personal and professional lifestyle through dedicated nutrition and mindfulness education.
MY JOURNEY
Becoming Nutrition And Meditation Certified
After reaching the breaking point with my health, I attended the Institute of Integrative Health, where I received my certification in nutrition. This was life-changing.
I learned to balance my primary food - non-food sources of nourishment, such as:

Inspired by the holistic approach to health, I pursued certification as a meditation teacher to better understand the connection between the mind and gut.

Beyond its primary function of survival, food is medicine. It can support our longevity, energy, mental clarity, and fulfillment.
The food we eat regulates daily functions in our body and significantly influences the composition of gut microbiota, which can impact mental health and cognitive function.
Understanding this vital connection helps illuminate a holistic approach to supporting my clients with their overall well-being.
Serotonin is essential for regulating mood, and 95% of it is produced in the gut. Therefore, prioritizing gut health is crucial for physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
My holistic approach considers not only what feeds our bodies but also what feeds our souls.
